WeatherCoat Exterior Primer

Berger WeatherCoat Exterior Primer is made with a high-quality pigment that provides superior whiteness and excellent opacity. It is a water-based primer for exterior walls and a suitable undercoat for exterior emulsions. It creates a tough film, which results in maximum durability of the paint system. This primer does not need to be cured. It penetrates the porous surface, seals the porosity of the surface, decreases surface absorption, and provides better coverage as a result.

PAINTING PROCESS OF WEATHER COAT EXTERIOR PRIMER

Repainting:
Touch up putty⟶ 1 Coat of primer⟶ 2 Coats paints

Fresh Painting:
1 Coat Primer⟶ 2 Coats of Putty⟶ 1 Coat of Primer⟶ 2/3 Coats of Paint

1. Masking

Covering furniture, switch boards, other elements with plastic sheets.

2. Surface preparation

Old paint is scraped using sand paper to remove flakes, loose particles.

3. Touch-up/ Full putty

Fill the cracks & pores, damages or apply 2-3 coats of full putty.

4. Apply Primer

To ensure better adhesion of paint, increase durability and protection for walls.

5. Painting

Apply 2/3 coat of paint after drying the first coat. Ceiling first then on walls.

6. Cleaning

To ensure there is no single drop of paint falling on floors or other places.
