PAINTING PROCESS OF DR. FIXIT NEWCOAT
Painting process:
Crack fillings⟶ 1 Coat of primer⟶ 2 Coats of undiluted waterproofing product
1. Surface Preparation
Old paint, putty is scraped using sandpaper, wire brush to remove flakes, loose particles.
2. Surface Environment
The surface should be dry and free from all kinds of contamination, and all loose and de-bonded concrete should be removed.
3. Crack Filling
All the cracks are to be filled with crack filler and silicon adhesion. Do not use putty for crack filling neither for interior nor exterior walls.
4. Apply Primer
To ensure better adhesion of Waterproofing product, increase durability and protection for walls.
Apply 1 coat of primer/adhesion diluted with water (2 part primer :1 part water) allow it to dry for 4-6 hrs.
5. Apply Waterproofing Coats
Apply 2 coats of waterproofing product without any dilution with 6-8 hrs time intervals. Apply it uniformly with roller and brush.
6. Cleaning
To ensure there is no single drop of waterproofing liquid falling on floors or other places.
