The Nerolac Excel Rain Guard Vertical Exterior Water Proofing Emulsion is made up of high-quality acrylic emulsion polymer, lightfast, and weather resistant pigments, fine fillers that have been picked and graded, and special additives. It is used as a waterproofing and protective coating for building exterior walls because it forms a thicker layer, has excellent stability, breathing properties, water resistance, crack-bridging capacity, weathering toughness, and excellent resistance to microorganisms development.

PAINTING PROCESS OF EXCEL RAIN GUARD VERTICAL EXTERIOR EMULSION

Repainting:
Touch up putty⟶ 1 Coat of primer⟶ 2 Coats paints

Fresh Painting:
1 Coat Primer⟶ 2 Coats of Putty⟶ 1 Coat of Primer⟶ 2/3 Coats of Paint

1. Masking

Covering furniture, switch boards, other elements with plastic sheets.

2. Surface preparation

Old paint is scraped using sand paper to remove flakes, loose particles.

3. Touch-up/ Full putty

Fill the cracks & pores, damages or apply 2-3 coats of full putty.

4. Apply Primer

To ensure better adhesion of paint, increase durability and protection for walls.

5. Painting

Apply 2/3 coat of paint after drying the first coat. Ceiling first then on walls.

6. Cleaning

To ensure there is no single drop of paint falling on floors or other places.
