Asian Paints Smartcare Damp Proof is an advanced terrace waterproofing solution against ordinary chemical waterproofing. Damp Proof comes with an 8-year warranty and 10-degree temperature reduction. Waterproofing filter applied with glass fiber-lined elastomeric liquid and gives a high sheen finish. SmartCare Damp Proof forms a dense, smooth, durable membrane for ultimate waterproofing.

Repainting:
Touch up putty⟶ 1 Coat of primer⟶ 2 Coats paints
Fresh Painting:
1 Coat Primer⟶ 2 Coats of Putty⟶ 1 Coat of Primer⟶ 2/3 Coats of Paint
1. Masking
Covering furniture, switch boards, other elements with plastic sheets.
2. Surface preparation
Old paint is scraped using sand paper to remove flakes, loose particles.
3. Touch-up/ Full putty
Fill the cracks & pores, damages or apply 2-3 coats of full putty.
4. Apply Primer
To ensure better adhesion of paint, increase durability and protection for walls.
5. Painting
Apply 2/3 coat of paint after drying the first coat. Ceiling first then on walls.
6. Cleaning
To ensure there is no single drop of paint falling on floors or other places.

2) A small hammer can be used to test the soundness of the substrate. Both cracks and weakened areas of up to 3 mm should be treated with SmartCare Crack Seal.
3) Apply a self-priming coat of SmartCare Damp Proof (diluted with water in a 3:1 ratio).
4) Apply two perpendicular coats of SmartCare Damp Proof without dilution. When the substance is already damp, apply SmartCare Joint Tapes to both corners and joints. Achieve a forced coverage of 10 square feet per liter for the machine.
5) Allow for 4-6 hours drying time between coats.
