BP Exterior Cement Primer

Berger BP Exterior Cement Primer is made with a special grade of acrylic binder and pigment that provides additional whiteness and outstanding opacity. It decreases the porosity of the wall, resulting in less efflorescence. It forms a water-resistant layer on the surface, preventing water and dissolved salts from absorbing the film. It protects the topcoat from degradation and contributes to the overall paint system’s durability. It penetrates the porous base, eliminates surface absorption, and as a result, the topcoat has greater coverage.

PAINTING PROCESS OF BP EXTERIOR CEMENT PRIMER

Repainting:
Touch up putty⟶ 1 Coat of primer⟶ 2 Coats paints

Fresh Painting:
1 Coat Primer⟶ 2 Coats of Putty⟶ 1 Coat of Primer⟶ 2/3 Coats of Paint

1. Masking

Covering furniture, switch boards, other elements with plastic sheets.

2. Surface preparation

Old paint is scraped using sand paper to remove flakes, loose particles.

3. Touch-up/ Full putty

Fill the cracks & pores, damages or apply 2-3 coats of full putty.

4. Apply Primer

To ensure better adhesion of paint, increase durability and protection for walls.

5. Painting

Apply 2/3 coat of paint after drying the first coat. Ceiling first then on walls.

6. Cleaning

To ensure there is no single drop of paint falling on floors or other places.
